The Director of DOOD Sales is responsible for establishing mtvU as the leading brand in Digital Out of Home media to reach college students. The Director will be responsible for all pieces of building this business from the ground up, including utilizing existing relationships with media agencies, developing deals, establishing and driving the overall OOH business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for driving and managing revenue generating activities for the DOOH line of business, specifically new business development and ongoing account/program management
• Develop and implement key account strategies that optimize revenue
• Seek out new business opportunities, developing and maintaining market intelligence on DOOH advertising and partnership trends
• Note - currently this is a one person operation, with the ability to add additional staff to match increases in total sales.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5-7 years experience with Digital Out of Home media sales.
• Demonstrated strong successes in creating new “Out of Home†revenue opportunities within an organization and capable of rolling out and scaling them across a full distribution footprint.
• Strong contacts and relationships with media agencies and clients.
• Proven ability to create new opportunities and partnerships across all areas of the business.
• Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with internal groups, and with external partners and clients
• Excellent analytical ability and decision-making skills.
• Superior communication skills, both written and oral; must exhibit executive presence with potential and current clients and partners
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Applicable progressive experience in Digital Out of Home media sales may be considered in lieu of education.
• Strong business ethics.
